Wind, Sail and Sun

Sail away in turquoise...the design on this teapot with a tropical feel features four wind filled turquoise sails on marine blue waves under bright yellow suns. On the sails are circular white shapes like reflected ripples on the water. Under the suns, along the diagonal edges of the sails, are the words "sail away", in lime green. A fresh and breezy look on a boat, a cottage at the beach, a tropical island...

Palm Trees Reflection

The design on this teapot comes with instructions - three bright red arrows pointing upwards with the words "THIS SIDE UP" in bold white letters. That's because the original photograph appears to be upside down, but is actually a photo of a reflection on the water. We see two palm trees against a deep blue sky, with part of an outdoor deck, boat and boat lift in the background, toward the base of the trees, but at the top of the photo in this case, since the entire photo is the reflection. There is a rippled effect over the whole image, created by the surface of the water. The colorful scene is mirror image repeated on the other side of the tea pot and merged in the center.
