Birds gliding, blue lightness...
This original photograph captures a flock of terns taking off from the beach, heading out over the ocean. The white birds, in the light of the late afternoon sun, stand out against the deep blue sky. The terns have black feathers on their heads and wing edges, and forked tails like swallow's tails.
