With so much cold weather gripping the Northern Hemisphere, thoughts of things warm and cozy come to mind. How 'bout a comforting cup of tea...

This design is a soft and gentle piece from the garden, but with the bold contrast of pink and black. The hibiscus flowers in the original photograph in this lovely pattern are a rich pink against an almost black background. The photo is a profile of the flowers in full bloom, with ruffled petals and yellow pollen stem. Sunlight shines on the spring green leaves, and a new flower bud emerges. There is gold monogram text which is set to personalize, or delete if you prefer.

The pattern on this porcelain teapot is made from an original photograph. The Orange Hibiscus flower we see in the photo is peeking out from among some green fern fronds in a lovely garden. The flower is in full bloom, with its ruffled edges standing out from the background of ferns. The shape of the flower is like a trumpet, curving outward, with red dots on top of yellow stems in the center of the bloom. The photo is a closeup showing the detail in the flower petals of this peach colored beauty.

35mm Film Strip
35mm Film Strip by HomeWare

This modern graphic design was made from a scan of a piece of 35mm film. After some digital manipulation, the film strip has become a pattern of muted blues and terracotta, with the part of the strip at the top becoming an iridescent rust color, with blue highlights. The background color pattern is made up of muted aqua blues and olive browns. In the center of the design there is white text which reads "studio". This is set to personalize, use as is, or delete.
Banana Flower Pattern

This design has been created from an original photograph of a banana flower. The photo has been repeated to form this tropical pattern. The colors are straight from nature, with an intricate background of yellow green, unripe bananas and the rich, dark reddish brown of the flower petals, called bracts, curving around in front. Beneath every layer lies an orderly row of little yellow-tipped fronds. These are the buds that eventually become bananas. The petals are a lighter, dusty pink color as the layers unfold toward the heart of the flower.

Item features artwork created by myself, Mendi Vernatter. The image was created digitally using various tools and effects in Various digital art programs that I own. I like the intricate patterns and the way the image appears to be shiny and metallic in nature.

Soft and lovely, reminiscent of days gone by, the original photograph on this nostalgic teapot features a close-up of two roses freshly gathered from the garden. The afternoon sunlight highlights their pale pink color with pale yellow, and accentuates the curves of the rose petals. At the top of the photo is a bit of pale grayish green of the garden behind the flowers. There is text in very deep pink, placed on each side and in the center of the tea pot. It reads "Tea for Two". This can be changed or deleted to suit your wishes.
