Cottage coziness...
This design is an original photograph of a cottage in Hourtin, France. The closeup photo focuses on a window with lace curtains, and the peach colored flowers growing below. The flowers are dahlias with yellow green leaves, and the window has sage green shutters. The terracotta tile roof casts a deep shadow over the top of the window, leaving the rest in bright sunlight. The pale stucco wall reflects the pink and yellow colors of the sun.

Basque in comfort...
This is an original photograph taken in the town of Helette, in the Basque country of France. It's market day in the town square, with colorful arts and crafts displayed outside the shops with their names written in the local language. The terracotta colored tile roofs of the Basque architecture stand out against the stormy blue sky.

Watch the storm...
This approaching storm is an original photograph of a patch of rain over the Gulf of Mexico. The view is from a path leading through some greens onto the warm sand of the beach. A few people are gathered along the edge of the blue green ocean waters. The sky is bright glow from the setting sun behind the dark gray and blue clouds.

The big pink...
This natural pink and green design is an original photograph of a periwinkle plant. The photo is a closeup, showing a little yellow green flower bud emerging from under the pink petals of another flower. The plant's shiny green leaves hold a few raindrops, highlighted by the sun now throwing shadows on the scene.

Crow about it...
This tile design was made from an original photograph of one of the
famous roosters of Key West, Florida. The birds can be heard crowing all
around town. Their feathers are an array of beautiful colors, from
their curving black tail feathers, to brown and orange on the body and
wings with a touch of bright blue, to yellow gold on their necks, to
their bright red heads. This rooster is scratching his neck as he stands
in the green grass. The border of the tile design is medium blue
decorated with yellow suns and little pink cats, another symbol of Key
West.
